THAI RESTAURANT ENTRANCE                                                                               DECEMBER 2012

The existing  interior of the restaurant with its exposed stone walls, dark walnut finishes, low lighting and Thai decor has always been hugely popular with customers of Tivoli´s. However, the restaurant's location tucked away on a quiet street in the Poble Sec district of Barcelona, as well as its  entrance comprised of large wooden doors, has hindered its chances of attracting new customers.

A proposal was draw up to capitalize on the charming interior with a new glass and walnut entrance and frontage allowing people to view the resturant's interior. A new bar area was moved to the entrance to encourage movement and activity visible from the street, and illuminated signing and interior lighting was also incorporated into the design to improve its visibility from the outside.
