The driving force behind our project is born out of a preoccupation for our planet and the well-being of those who we share it with. We believe it is more important than ever to produce buildings that are less energy intensive, more respectful of nature and kinder to our health.

By shifting towards more forward-thinking models, which incorporate traditional methods with innovative technologies and sustainable design practices, we believe we can creatively achieve purposeful design that is both beautiful and in keeping with our planet.

Inhabit Lab has over 10 years experience delivering buildings, which are typically run from the concept design stage to full completion. We are happy to work in ways which meet the specific requirements of our clients, or in more 'traditional' ways. Sustainability & Passivhaus

We are champions of environmentalism, sustainable design and low-energy building. We strive to integrate these values into our work to offer you high quality architecture that speaks of our time. We are ardent believers in the Passivhaus standard and the need to reduce operational energy, as well as embodied energy through carefully considered,  comfortable and healthy buildings.

We are passionate about neighbourhoods that speak to our sense of identity, draw on our architectural heritage and integrate amenities and green spaces that can transform a place from a development into a community. We are skilled in quickly providing feasibility studies for landowners and developers as part of defining a brief or outline planning proposals for both urban and rural sites.

Energy efficiency consultancy

We offer design and consultancy services to support our clients in achieving energy reduction targets for their projects, through passive and active energy strategies, bioclimatic design and integration of healthy building principles to improve overall energy efficiency and well-being. Some of our proudest project outcomes arise from assessment, planning and implementation of even the simplest strategies.
