Towards a greener future
We want Passivhaus and other sustainable building practices to be the norm, not the exception.
Inhabit Lab unites Passivhaus and other sustainable building practices to reduce operational energy use and embodied energy whilst promoting comfort, health and well-being in architecture. We incorporate the following sustainability practices into our work in order to achieve a greater quality of architecture for our clients...
Passivhaus & energy efficiencyPassivhaus is the gold standard in energy efficiency. Passivhaus buildings are more environmentally friendly, more comfortable and healthier to live in. Furthermore, because Passivhaus buildings use so little energy they are seen as a more cost effective solution over the whole lifecycle of the building.

Healthy buildings & biomaterialsWe believe in providing clear and simple advice to our clients about the environmental impact of materials, as well as highlighting the potential dangers that some materials pose to our health. We work together with our clients to propose viable alternatives to ensure that projects are built in a way that show a greater respect for the natural environment, whilst providing users with materials and finishes that are kinder to our health. |
A larger impact can be made with greater collaboration
We believe that the interchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences with other experts and enthusiasts can be a vital source of intellectual fuel for the engine of innovation and growth for future projects
Action! It is easy to feel hopeless in the fight against climate change. But if we’re going to find a solution to the existential crisis we are currently facing, we must first believe we can. We believe that through collaboration we con foster a sense of a collective movement, helping us to build strength to take action.

Working togetherWith each design project we face new challenges. By building a collaborative culture and community of individuals and organisations, we aim to bring resources together to solve the problems and to build the homes of the future. We are always open to collaborating and growing our community.
