Passivhaus & energy efficiency

​Passivhaus is the gold standard in energy efficiency. Passivhaus buildings are more environmentally friendly, more comfortable and healthier to live in. Furthermore, because Passivhaus buildings use so little energy they are seen as a more cost effective solution over the whole lifecycle of the building.

Circular
design​​

The construction industry is responsible for over 30% of the extraction of natural resources, as well as 25% of solid waste generated in the world. This happens because the construction sector mostly adopts a linear economic model of “take, make, dispose”.

​By incorporating a circular economy approach to designing, producing and consuming goods we can eliminate waste, regenerate nature and live within our means and in harmony with the planet.

Healthy buildings & biomaterials

​​We believe in providing clear and simple advice to our clients about the environmental impact of materials, as well as highlighting the potential dangers that some materials pose to our health.

We work together with our clients to propose viable alternatives to ensure that projects are built in a way that show a greater respect for the natural environment, whilst providing users with materials and finishes that are kinder to our health.
