​Covered walkways give access to each of the new wings from the main house and create a cloister around the garden. Accesible green roofs replace the garden space occupied by the proposal and improve biodiversity, whilst in addition increasing thermal performance. Solar energy production, rainwater harvesting and high performance-low carbon materials play an important role in reducing the buildings impact on the wider environment.
